What is the Amazing Comic Con Aloha?

Amazing Comic Con Aloha is a 3 day Pop Culture Experience that takes place at the Hawaii Convention Center in Honolulu Hawaii. It launched with Stan Lee as headline guest in 2015. This is event is the biggest comic con in the state of Hawaii.

When does Amazing Comic Con Aloha Happen?

Amazing Comic Con Aloha takes place at the Hawaii Convention Center in Honolulu, just west of the world famous Waikiki Beach.

Was the Amazing Comic Con Aloha event rescheduled?

Yes- this event was rescheduled due to Pandemic, and then some Family issues. All Vendor bookings and All Tickets purchased will be honored at this event that takes place November 8-9-10

What is difference between the Amazing Comic Con Aloha and other Events at the Hawaii Convention Center calling themselves Comic Con?

Honolulu has a number of smaller fan events taking place throughout the calendar, centering on certain aspects of fandom. These events can be fun but certainly are NOT associated with Amazing Comic Con.

Amazing Comic Con is the longest running Full Scale fan event in Hawaii. This is an all encompassing Fan expo that features a wide net of comics, entertainment, Pop Personality, Anime, Voice Actors, and More.

What will I find on the convention floor?

Amazing Comic Con Family has been working overtime in bringing the best of a North American traditional Comic Con to the fans of Hawaii, Starting with finest selection of comics from modern to vintage, along with fan favorites such as toys, merch, gear, and more. There will be 100 vendors at the show, giving public a vast array. Also look out for Artist Alley Favorites with talented creators.

I want to EXHIBIT at Amazing Comic Con Aloha in Hawaii, how do I do this?

I Don’t see all the guests that were announced at were announced during 2023- are they still attending?

All Guests scheduled to be attending Amazing Comic Con Aloha will be listed on the Guest Page. Due to rescheduled dates of the convention, not all members of the original guest list will be attending Amazing Comic Con Aloha 2024 this November. Our staff has reloaded our roster, and will continue to post more great names from the world of Pop Culture to the opening of our event.

Is Cosplay Allowed at Amazing Comic Con Aloha?

We are HUGE Fans of Costuming at our Conventions. Halloween doesn’t have to be the close of dressing up. We will be posting weekend activities such as the Costume Contest, Photo Shoots, and more. Also watch for additional rules and guidelines, as our event needs to be compliant with the Hawaii Convention Center.

Where Can I Buy Tickets to Amazing Comic Con Aloha?
Tickets are ON SALE NOW for Amazing Comic Con Aloha. You can purchase these ONLINE HERE.

Tickets can be also purchased *AT* the event at the Hawaii Convention Center in Honolulu on Friday November 8, Saturday November 9, and Sunday November 10.

How Much are KID's Tickets?
At Amazing Comic Con Events, Children 10 and Under are ALWAYS FREE with a paid adult.

I Purchased my Ticket Online- Can I just Walk through the door?
If you purchased tickets online, we strongly suggest that you print your event ticket. You can bring this information on your phone or device. You will present this ticket to a staff member where you will exchange for a wrist band. This wrist band permits you to come and go through the event, leaving the hall and entering. You must wear your wristband at all times. If you remove your wrist band, it will become null and void. Replacements must then be purchased.

I Bought a FULL EVENT, Friday/Saturday/Sunday Ticket- can I let a friend or family member use it one day?
No- tickets are non transferable. All Wristbands must be worn the entire duration. 3-Day Wristbands will NOT be replaced.

I Purchased a VIP Ticket- where do I get my GIFT BAG?
When checking in at the registration counter at the Hawaii Convention Center, with your your printed ticket or confirmation on your phone. You will sign in at the booth, and receive your gift bag items.

Can I Exchange Items in my Premium Gift Bag?
The team at Amazing Comic Con strives to include only the best items for the Premium Gift Bags. However we do not guarantee condition, or grading. All items are considered gifts.

I Purchased a VIP Ticket or Premium Upgrade- does this include a signature from a specific comic guest or media personality?
All Premium Tickets- from VIP to Upgrades include gift bags, and privileges such as Early Entrance. Only items that are specifically offered by Amazing Comic Convention are included in the packages. No Tickets that are offered by Amazing Comic Conventions for the 2024 Amazing Comic Con Aloha include signatures, or discounts from the talent. All talent sets their own pricing, and signature policy. Amazing Comic Con has no control any transactions between the talent on the convention floor.

I Purchased a KID’s VIP Ticket for my son or Daughter- do they get early admission to the show, but not me?
Absolutely not the case. We will never split a family up in a situation like this. Parents must be with their kids at all times at the event, and therefore you will get early admission as well.

My Favorite Creator, or Media Guest cancelled, can I get a refund?
At Amazing Comic Con Events all ticket sales are final. This is the policy determined by our partners through tickets purchased through eventbrite, or directly at the Amazing Comic Con Box Office. While guest cancellations are indeed unfortunate, they do happen. Our events will still be open for 3 full days of comic con style fun at the Amazing Comic Con Aloha, and as such your tickets will be valid.

I purchased a ticket package that is centered specifically around talent that had to cancel. What do I do?

Amazing Comic Con will work with you to ensure the best experience as possible. While admission tickets cannot be refunded, management will make the exception to exchange your packages for credits toward other packages, merchandise, tickets, and more. Our staff can go over specific cases by contacting our team at AmazingComicEvents@gmail.com

I purchased ticket to Amazing Comic Con Aloha but can no longer attend. Can I get a refund?

All tickets to Amazing Comic Con events are final. Our event is open “rain or shine” so to speak, and therefore your ticket is valid. Tickets are non-transferable.

CODE OF CONDUCT

Participation in any Amazing Comic Con and/or affiliate events requires adherence to all of Amazing Comic Con’s Rules, and Policies. Determination of violations are at the sole discretion of Amazing Comic Con. Violation of any Rules and Policies may result in forfeiture of event access badge, and permanent removal from event premises.

Children age 13 or younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

Attendees must respect common sense rules for public behavior, personal interaction, common courtesy, and respect for private property. Harassment, hate speech, unsolicited physical contact or photography, violence, or offensive behavior will not be tolerated. In addition, attendees who appear to be intoxicated or under the influence of drugs will not be permitted into venue spaces. Amazing Comic Con reserves the right to revoke, without refund, the admission media of any attendee, vendor, contractor, or staff member not in compliance with this policy.

Persons finding themselves in a situation where they feel their safety is at risk or who become aware of an attendee not in compliance with this policy should immediately locate the nearest member of security or staff.

DRESS CODE

Amazing Comic Con is a family friendly, inclusive environment and welcomes attendees of all backgrounds and body types. For the safety and comfort of all attendees and staff, the following guidelines for attire must be adhered to at Amazing Comic Con events:

Nudity is not allowed at any Amazing Comic Con venue. All attendees, regardless of gender, are required to have opaque material providing complete coverage of nipples, genitals and buttocks.
Opaque bodysuits that simulate nudity are not allowed.
Clothing and Costumes must not contain words or images that are obscene, offensive, or derogatory. Final determination is left to the sole discretion of Amazing Comic Con.
Footwear must include a solid sole, entirely covering the bottom of the foot.
All costumes must be able to fit through a standard 7’ Doorway, with the exception of pre-approved, large scale costumes for Contests.
Any item of clothing or costume deemed inappropriate by a member of Amazing Comic Con or Law Enforcement is not permitted on the convention floor.

PROP POLICIES

PROP CHECK

All costume props must be inspected daily at Prop Check. The Prop Policy is subject to change at any time and final approval on costume props will be at the sole discretion of Amazing Comic Con.

After your prop(s) have been checked, they will be tagged to designate that your prop(s) have been approved. This tag must remain visible on your prop(s) while you are at the event. Security will escort you to the Prop Check Desk for inspection if your costume prop(s) is not tagged.

Props may be allowed as a part of your costume, subject to Prop Check approval and compliance with the following:

All cosplay must abide by Amazing Comic Con’s Code of Conduct.
- All costume props must conform to state and federal law, as well as venue policy.
- All prop items must be part of a cosplay. You may not carry a prop if you are not in costume.
- No Weapons of any kind will be allowed in the Kamehameha Hall per Hawail Convention Center rules
Costumes featuring stilts must be approved at the Prop Check Desk.
Realistic cosplay of first responders, police, and/or security is not permitted.
All Props must be able to fit through a standard 7’ Doorway, with the exception of pre-approved, large scale props for Contests.
At certain times, due to crowds and safety issues, oversized costumes may be asked to leave the Exhibit Hall and/or programming rooms.

If you do not want to have your costume prop(s) inspected or tagged, or if you are not willing to comply with these policies, please do not bring your costume prop(s) to Amazing Comic Con.

The Props Policy is subject to change at any time. Please be sure to continue to check this website to ensure your prop(s) comply with the current Policy.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

For the safety and comfort of all attendees and staff, there are a few things that are never allowed at Amazing Comic Con:

Weapons or projectiles of any kind
Drones of any kind.
Smoking, vaping, or illegal substances/drugs of any kind.
Animals of any kind, with the exception of Trained Service Animals (Animals whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA)
Any not ADA mobility devices
Items deemed as dangerous by Amazing Comic Con, venue security, or law enforcement officers.

PHOTOGRAPHY / FILMING CLAUSE

By attending Amazing Comic Con, you acknowledge and agree that you may be photographed, filmed, or recorded by event organizers or media personnel. These images and recordings may be used for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, websites, and marketing materials, without compensation or acknowledgment. Your presence at the event constitutes your consent to the use of your image or likeness for these purposes.
